Data & Sources

Where our listing information comes from and how we keep it accurate.

Where the Data Comes From

Listing information on US LocateHub is compiled from publicly available sources, including:

  • Public business registries and open government datasets
  • Publicly published business information (official websites, public listings)
  • Publicly visible visitor feedback, which we summarize and paraphrase in our own words on listing pages

Descriptions and the “What People Say” summaries are editorial content written by us based on these sources. They are not verbatim copies, and reviewer names are changed to protect privacy.

How Often Data Is Updated

Listings are updated in batches as we verify and enrich them. Every listing page shows an “Information last updated” date so you can judge how fresh the data is. Core details such as addresses and coordinates change rarely; details such as opening hours, phone numbers, and pricing can change at any time on the business side.

For anything critical, such as a medical appointment or parking before an event, we recommend confirming directly with the business or facility.

Accuracy and Limitations

We review listings before publishing, but no directory is ever perfectly current. Businesses move, close, and change hours without notifying anyone. Keep in mind:

  • Information is provided for general reference and is not professional, medical, or legal advice
  • Ratings and visitor feedback reflect individual opinions, not our assessment of a business
  • A listing on US LocateHub is not an endorsement; we are not affiliated with the businesses listed

Report Inaccurate Information

Found something wrong or outdated? Business owners can also request a correction or removal of their listing. Contact us via the Contact page with a link to the listing and a short description of the issue. Reports are typically processed within a few business days.
