About This Business

MR Primary Care, formerly Lexington Medical Associates, is a primary care clinic on East 57th Street in Midtown New York, NY. Longtime patients speak highly of the doctors, including names like Dr. Liakeas and Dr. Shavalian, calling the medical care excellent. The recurring gripe is the front office and phones, which some found hard to reach. The clinic is LGBTQ+ friendly and books ahead by appointment.

What People Say(5)

Mike B.

Dr. Liakeas has been my primary care physician for going on 15 years, and his care runs circles around other doctors I've seen. Healthcare is a rough subject for a lot of people because of poor care from providers.

Owen T.

I've been a patient here for several years, back when it was Lexington Medical Associates, and I want to be clear the individual doctors have been excellent. I've gotten genuinely high quality care from them.

Tessa S.

I was a patient at Lexington Medical Associates for over five years and always had a great experience. The doctors are still excellent. This review isn't about them.

Ludovica B.

I'd have loved to give five stars because Dr. Shavalian is great, caring and professional. Unfortunately it's nearly impossible to reach an actual person when you call.

Y. D.

I agree with a lot of the recent reviews. The doctors are great, it's the admin and front desk that are unhelpful. For some reason they never pick up the phone. This will probably be my last visit and that's really sad.
