I've been to Dr Shigematsu many, many times and I've always been happy with my experience. The team is courteous and kind. The waiting room is spacious, and nearby street parking is easy and cheap, just not right in front of the building. The doctor is very friendly, gives his full attention, and answers any medical question. I usually go in for a quick consultation about a cold or flu and get treatment that works well for me. I can almost always get a same-day appointment, which is great! He'll refer you to a nearby Japanese pharmacy with easy, fully validated plaza parking, where everyone is quick and friendly.

Dr Shigematsu has cared for my parents for decades. It's just Mom now, and he's attentive, never brushing off her concerns or hesitating to refer her to a specialist when she needs further evaluation, which has been more often lately since she's 89. He also listens to us adult kids and doesn't dismiss us when we flag new issues Mom is having. Mom and the rest of us are very happy with his care.

This is a well run office with staff that truly cares and is excellent at what they do. The patients are a multicultural mix from all walks of life, which is a great sign that they provide good care to everyone.
