Do not waste your time. My previous doctor, Dr. Reynaldo Zapata, retired and I got switched to Dr. Suyat automatically. I gave him a chance and regretted it. The wait was over 2 hours, and when I finally got in he had no idea who I was or why I was there, since staff had only left him a paper with my name. No X-ray or lab results. He spent another hour trying to pull up my info and had to call staff back in, who returned with an attitude. Then, after all that, he was with another patient who came in after me even though I was last in line. Incompetent and unprofessional. Stay away.

Dr. Suyat saved my life and this review is not enough to capture it. I did not know what was wrong and was in terrible shape, I felt like I might die the day I went in. He discovered I had Type 2 Diabetes with blood sugar over 500. I have never seen a doctor so concerned, he was genuinely alarmed at how high it was and said in all his years specializing in diabetes he had rarely seen it that high. I did not have insurance then because of a Medi-Cal issue, and he still helped me so much, even with medications. Now I have Covered California and chose him as my primary care physician. He truly cares regardless of a patient finances, so no matter how long the wait or how small his clinic, I will keep him as my doctor. My A1C is now 5.4 and I have gone from 186 to 120 pounds and I am doing well.
