I have been Dr. Gallo's patient for nine years and was stunned to see the one-star review from 'Anonymous'. MD2 has a long waitlist because they are the best concierge practice in Chicago. My condition is very complex and needs careful coordination, close monitoring, and sometimes urgent at-home visits. Dr. Gallo and his partner Hennessy respond around the clock, backed by a wonderful team of nurses who can also do home visits on very short notice. I feel privileged to be a patient at MD2, and every specialist I see speaks highly of Dr. Gallo. It is a truly special place.

During a phone meet-and-greet set up by an assistant, Dr. Gallo was asked about the MD2 retainer, what it covers, and how it works with insurance and HSAs. Rather than explain the business, he said if you have to ask how much it costs you're not right for the practice. He also seemed interested in legacy references. The conversation felt elitist and heavy on affluence. The individual and family retainers are $15,000 and $25,000, and there is a 20 person waitlist.

I had a great experience with Dr. Gallo while asking about his practice. He was very down to earth, pleasant, and informative, with no elitist attitude at all. In fact, when I told him upfront that the practice was out of my price range, he still spent several minutes with me and gave me names of other physicians who would fit my situation better. He did not have to do that.
